Robin Lindner
Robin is currently completing his MSc. in Bioinformatics at the University of Potsdam under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zoran Nikoloski. His research is focused on inferring biochemically relevant patterns through network analysis of large scale atom transition networks, as well as curating a pan-chloroplast metabolic model uniting chloroplast functionality of higher plant species.
During his RESIST secondment, he will spend three months at the University of Cape Town with Prof. Dr. Nicola Illing. His work will focus on associating metabolomic and genomic markers with desiccation tolerance in barley, utilizing the prominent B1K collection of Israeli barley populations.
